PACKING MANAGER
- PRODUCTION POSITIONS -

· The Position is responsible for Managing the Packing Lines of Rochdale Spears Plant 2
· Biggest part of its responsibilities are to make sure product goes out to the Packing lines are made to highest quality aligned to RSC standards. Achieved set shipment forecast each week/quarter in each working year.
· Materials: It is also expected that materials used to operate the Packing Line are utilized to the optimum utilization by establishing clear processes. With the adoption of most known productivity principles like Material management system, Lean manufacturing, productivity and quality programs, 5'S, BIQC and alike in which programs increases productivity and maintaining high Quality output.
· Also make sure that process system sheets are followed and or if improvements are taken place must ensure to reflect each changes to the standard RSC
· Put in good discipline among the Packing teams and tight shop floor management programs among workers from Organizing work place, 5'S, following approved PSP and FOP and Maintains machine and tools issued from the company to the team.
Nature and Scope:
· Responsible in setting-up productivity meetings, and Quality meetings. Establish visual Monitoring on the shop floor, so workers are well guided as to what plans and what things small groups/teams should do for the day and each accomplishment time.
· It is also essential to work with CS, Planning, Logistics and Purchasing Team so materials demand and stocking program to the minimum avoiding dead inventory or over-stocks.

Planning:
· Manage internal planning are done on time for the production units to be pro-active
· Review and approved internal production schedule aligned to Master Planning schedule from CS
· Review with Planners from time to time WW wip and status so schedule for the following weeks or months are prepared ahead
· Leads, guide and assist internal dept planning team on their weekly planning meeting.
· Initiates daily production meeting among the key production people
· From time to time sitdown with planners and or CS to know priorities and directions of forecast and planning
· Instigates and assess group's not hitting the plans and put solution and or guidance to the problems
· Facilitates goal achievements by minimizing barriers and promoting objective oriented behavior.
· Manage the direct and indirect materials forecasting procedure by making sure to have the right person and procedure in place.
· Review and follow-up HW demands report, making sure things are delivered on time or as promised/committed dates
· Establish visual management to support Team Leaders, Supervisor and to get workers awareness involvement of the planned
· Make sure that all items pass OBA (Open Box Audit) before shipping
· Manage all Supervisors and workers abide by Packing Spec
Organizing:
· Implement 5'S on the shop floor and makes to make weekly meeting to achieved visitor's ready working environment
· Make sure staff and key people in office and production position and responsibilities are clearly defined and those they understand the task
· Establish labeling and visual information to held-up items, stocks, non-moving, urgent items, special work orders and alike
· Always refreshes and or inject Supervisors and Team Leaders behavior to Line-up help items, file up properly stocks and storage
· Refreshes and encourage small group Leaders and Supervisors on Line-up 2-3 minutes before the office time going to canteen, going home. This is also to establish safety and disciplining among workers
· Review all worker skills and plan for cross training to have a multi-skilled and flexible workforce.
Quality:
· Initiates and 5 minutes Quality resolution meeting on the shop floor for those repetitive quality issues, or NCR Non-compliance report and establish permanent solutions, recommendations to QA and or Technical Team
· Recommend to technical department regarding process improvements with regards to machining operation in order to eliminate rework and save time in processing as well as to produce a safe, economical and easy to process parts that conforms in accordance with company's quality.
· Initiates Quality meeting together with Quality Supervisor or Managers discussing the weekly Quality performance each Team or group and encourage Supervisor to make corrective actions
· Call and make decisions to audit PSP · Ensure all group follow FOP rules · Leads and attends Finished goods Open Carton box audit
· Attend management Quality meeting
· Make sure to emphasis that all subordinates reporting to you owned the Quality not the QC on the shop floor, QC is only a support people works for us and against us
